Despite the disruption caused by Covid-19, the industry's confidence in its own event O=Mega21 is strong, with the much-anticipated Australasian optical fair selling nearly its entire exhibitor floorplan in just 48 hours.
“We are absolutely overwhelmed by the industry’s response to O=Mega21, which shows their confidence in our brand,” said Optical Distributors & Manufacturers Association (ODMA) CEO Finola Carey. “It is evident that the industry cannot wait to get back to in-person meetings and discussing hot topics with their peers and being able to conduct business face-to-face at a high-quality event. We can’t wait to deliver this injection of excitement to the Australian and New Zealand market in this new spring-time slot.”
O=Mega21, presented by ODMA and Optometry Victoria South Australia, will be held on 2-4 September 2021 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Confirmed exhibitors include De Rigo, Safilo, Optique Line, Rodenstock, Zeiss, Hoya, Optos, Optimed, Device Technologies, Designs for Vision and new entrant Marcolin.
