Blackfin’s new Aero collection, taking its cues from the world of aeronautics, is the epitome of lightness. The company says its team has invested more than two years into crafting this minimalist product, which is made with a 0.7mm sheet of beta titanium for the bridge, ensuring frame stability, and 0.5mm for the temples for a flexible and comfortable fit.
The Aero line offers two different bridge concepts: one geometric, with bolder, angular shapes; and one retro, more refined and agile, lending a futuristic flair to the classic rimless styles of the late 1800s. The collection includes 20 lens shapes and 20 colours – 10 for each bridge type. The colours are divided into solids, combinations of internal and external colours, hand-coloured for an antiqued effect, or polished silver and gold.
