As part of its efforts to establish a global myopia management standard of care, the World Council of Optometry (WCO) will host a virtual event on 12 February 2022 in partnership with CooperVision.
Among the eyecare practitioners sharing their perspectives on myopia management will be Brisbane’s Dr Kate Gifford, committee chair and lead author of the International Myopia Institute’s Clinical Management Guidelines. Dr Philip Cheng, clinical director of Eyecare Concepts at the Myopia Clinic in Melbourne, will also present on his experiences of myopia control, children’s optometry and specialty contact lenses.
