Zeiss has appointed former managing director of Carl Zeiss Vision South Africa, Gail Giordani, to the role of head of Vision Care for Australia and New Zealand.
A medical scientist specialising in haematology, Giordani brings over two decades’ experience within the company. She said she’s excited to join the team in Adelaide and is looking forward to travelling around Australia and New Zealand to meet with customers and other industry role players. “Based on my years of experience within the Zeiss organisation and a developing market, I intend to leverage this knowledge, positioning Zeiss Vision Care in the ANZ market as a partner of choice for our customers.”
Giordani succeeds Hilke Fitzsimons, who has taken on a new role within Zeiss’ global organisation.
