The 15th annual Practice Managers’ Congress will be held virtually from the 26 to 28 February 2022, concurrent with RANZCO’s 52nd scientific congress (now also virtual).
The practice managers’ conference programme has been designed to enable ophthalmology practice managers to share advice and initiatives, and build connections, said Lucy Peters, chair of the RANZCO Practice Managers’ Advisory Group. “The aim is to provide practice managers with a real-life toolkit that they can refer to in the eight core principles of practice management – HR, finance, IT, risk, governance, marketing, clinical operations and professional responsibility.”
This year’s programme features a combination of morning lectures, focusing on emerging HR and legal issues, risk evaluation in private practice, effective delegation, practice staffing costs, website must-haves, and succession planning, and professional development in the afternoons. Each professional development stream is 1.5 hours long, including a session on aspects of leadership and honing practice operations.
