Titan Healthcare is expanding with three new recruits. Familiar industry faces Camille Furnandiz and Julian Knaggs have joined in two newly established product-specialist roles and optometry product specialist Steph Moore has come aboard straight from the UK.
“I’m really excited to see what these three bring to the business,” said Titan’s founding director Campbell Gordon. “The addition of Camille, Julian and Steph allows us the opportunity to grow into new areas of the industry and to better serve all customers in both optometry and ophthalmology. Ultimately, the goal is to have an even more rounded offering to all areas of eyecare.”
With more than two decades of senior medical sales roles under her belt and nine years in the ophthalmic industry, Furnandiz said she’s ready for the next step. “Being based in Wellington, medical device companies aren’t plentiful and I’m very grateful to Cam for providing this opportunity to continue to work in the industry I love. The instantaneousness of eye outcomes is very special and I value the closeness with the surgeons and nurses that this role provides, allowing you to become part of the patient journey and outcomes.”
In her new role, Furnandiz said she will also be supporting Gordon with marketing and regulation in the launch of a new ophthalmic consumable portfolio covering a range of specialties. “It’s an opportunity to look at new products and bring innovative solutions to this market. As a local ophthalmic supplier, we can be agile and nimble in bringing quick decision-making to the table – a locals-supporting-locals approach.”
Julian Knaggs has worked with Furnandiz in various setups, including most recently at Medix21. With more than two decades in ophthalmic surgical sales, he said his strengths include fostering client relationships, promoting advanced medical technologies and collaborating with both suppliers and customers. “I really enjoy seeing the full picture, understanding a practice’s challenges, a patient’s needs and the supplier’s capabilities and then bringing it all together to create outcomes that genuinely work for all sides,” he said. “There’s a real satisfaction in building long-term trust, solving problems creatively and watching those partnerships translate into tangible success.”
